It took my school 14 and a half weeks, but I finally got my results back from my final project.

Oh, but it gets better! They apparently lost the results of the project before that.

...I'm not even surprised.

For anyone curious, the results were sufficient and I've passed the second year. Except that I'm already in third year for 14 and a half weeks.

Animecon 2008 was amazing I've had tons of fun, spend a lot of money and met a couple of new people. The only downside was the bus driving between Almelo and Hengelo, which was too late all the time >>;

I originally went with =Mikari and ~UchihaSasuke333, but also ran into *nwoppertje, ~nymphvt and ~Setsunacutey (doubtlessly more people, too XD).

Also watched the AMV contest as usual, which had some really nice AMVs. The cosplay compo was also interesting to watch. Definitely enjoyed the Phoenix Wright one The photoshoot was also hilarious XD I also played cards with a few people in the evening :3 It was really fun XD

Coming weekend I'll be off to Animecon in Almelo, the Netherlands. I'll be going the entire weekend, and I'll be cosplaying Friday and Saturday. I'll be cosplaying as Rhode Camelot from D.Gray-man. Anyway, that wasn't the entire point of making this entry XD First, I'd like to apologize for being a shitty commenter on art, but to be honest, I couldn't be bothered to go through my inbox to comment on all the drawings.

Second, I'm sorry for not uploading anything in ages. Though I have some sketches and linearts lying around (some even from months ago), I couldn't be bothered to finish them. In fact, I completely lack any motivation to do art-related things at all. It's either because I'm a lazy ass, or my lack of spare time. Or it's because the majority of my creativity goes to my education/work. And the rest to RPing. I highly suspect it to be the latter. Ever since I started doing Graphic Design, my urge to draw something besides lame doodles not worth putting up has grown lesser and lesser. Both my inspiration and motivation is really low. It has been like that for a while, for over a year I think. I suppose my 6-months-art-block from last year comes from this XD

At this rate, I'm not improving as I had wanted to do. But frankly, I don't even care at the moment. Drawing has never been an ambition or passion of mine. Just something I enjoyed doing. For that reason, I can't push myself to put anything on paper if I'm not motivated, either.

Point of this entry? Don't be surprised if you don't hear much from me aside from the occasional comment or journal entry. I might put up something again once my motivation and inspiration returns, but until then, I guess you could say I'm on a bit of a hiatus? I think 'lurking' is a better phrase XD

...it's about time that I updated, really.

In any case, I'm finally on working placement. The people there are really nice, if not entirely random and a bit cynical, and OMG there is so much snark and jokes flying around XD The work I'm doing there is fun, as well. So that's a plus :3 Up 'til now things appear to be going well, too ^^ so yahs~! \o/ I do have to get used to the short evenings, however. Even had to drop some RPs I'm in simply because I lack time XD AH WELL, c'est la vie.

Saturday the 26th (or was it the 27th?) I went to a cosplay meet in the Efteling, along with =Mikari and ~UchihaSasuke333. There were about 105 people there, of which the majority were cosplayed. It was a lot of fun, met some really cool people. As for cosplay, I went as Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts :3 There are pictures, but since I'm lazy (never said it was a good quality), either visit my LJ or the Aniway forum. Some are wrong though And I'm involved in a few 'yaoi' pics. For the lulz. WE HAVE TRAUMATIZED SOME KIDS I SWEAR!

Speaking of anime, I've started to watch D.Gray-man, and I love it. There are some really cool characters in that show, and so far I haven't found anyone I'm disliking. Not even Komui, since he's hilarious But my favorite character of the entire show up til now is Rhode Camelot. YES IT'S A GIRL OMFG! She's cute in a very sadistic and evil way, but that's exactly what makes her awesome :3

I intend to read the manga after I've finished watching the episodes.

WTF DA! Stop being an ass and let me submit a journal entry/comment! This is irritating!!! D: -headdesks-

In any case, my school work's almost done! \o/ I only have some small things to finish and then hand everything in tomorrow. It was about time, since I've been doing a lot these past weeks X_x

We also received some letter that threatened to delay our second working placement if we didn't finish everything. X_x

I did make a test last week, and it went aweful. I really wonder how I came up with such stupid answers >>;. I have yet to receive my grade, but I don't expect it to be too good. I hope the test doesn't count as much, or that they'll compensate it with my other grades. Or even that I'm allowed to redo it X_x it'd suck if I couldn't pass just because of one lame test D: We'll see I guess.

Anyway, working placement next week! I'm not sure what it says about my school if I'm actually happy about that XD

In other news, for those who don't know it yet; the tickets for the Dutch Animecon have already started. The first 400 have already been sold, too.
